All damaged roads would be repaired before the mela and the district administration would provide its full support for smooth conduct of the mela, he said.

He assured that the law and order would be enforced tightly. However, the DM expected from the members that they would not use illegal power connections, cross sound limit and use of plastic bags for Prasad distribution.

He hoped that these three instructions would be followed, and if not, then stringent action would be taken against the guilty. Taking a certificate from the director of electricity safety, Allahpur, would be mandatory for temporary connection.

DM also asked the members that if they found any person suspicious persons near any pandal they must inform it by dialing 100. Regular power and electricity would be ensured during the festival, the DM said.
