Sunglasses are an essential fashion accessory today and communicate a lot about your style sense and personality. But are you a victim of choices? Do you often wonder which frames will suit you the best?

First word of caution- after high heels, sunglasses can make or break your look.

“You can make your individual style statement with a pair of sunglasses; it enhances your attire and adds to your glam quotient. While it makes up for a perfect glam accessory, they must be worn after careful consideration,” said Charu Sachdev, fashion designer and socialite.

While globally, oversized and rounded shapes in vintage models are the latest trend, you need to be cautious of your face structure while buying certain frames.

If you have an oval face, you should thank your stars. Almost any frame looks good with this face as long as it’s proportionate with the face. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for square face-cut.

“Slightly curved frames with the top of the frame set high enough are ideal for a square face-cut. It downplays the jaw line. Aviators will look great on square faces,” added Sehdev.

Even after getting the shape of the frames right, you can still go wrong with sunglasses.

“Too much bling is a common fashion faux-pas. Also lenses should be treated with care. Scratched lenses look tacky,” said Sachdev.

So now you go girl, but tread with caution.
