Officials at Axe, in an attempt to promote their latest Dark Temptation fragrance, decided to reward Pitt with a statuette of his own in chocolate weighing 4.5 kg, reports contactmusic.com.

An accompanying note read: "We still feel your performance deserves a statue, one that's a bit sweeter."

Pitt was nominated for the Academy Award for his performance in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" but he lost out to Sean Penn, who was awarded for his portrayal of a gay politician in "Milk".
