But all of this comes only if you are an “ultra high net worth individual” or can afford it.

Mumbai based BJETS — partially owned by the Indian Hotels Company, a Tata Group outfit —on Tuesday launched its air charter services in India.“India has just 200 business compared with 11,000 in the United States. We see a huge market in India. The economic downturn, as I see it will not really affect us,” Mark Baier, chief executive officer, BJET said at launch of its services.

“Our philosophy is to give customers an opportunity to won the way they fly with freedom with freedom to travel anywhere, anytime,” Baier said.

However, Baier chose not to comment on what it would cost to fractionally own a five to 10 seater BJet aircraft.

BJETS now has a fleet of four small jets and 35 pilots. It plans a fleet of 50 aircraft at an estimated cost of $ 1 billion. It will have 250 pilots on board in the next five years.
