Describing the outcome of the Srinagar roundtable conference as "pro-terrorist" and "encouragement to secessionist moves", former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Chaman Lal Gupta on Friday alleged that the meet failed to address the security concerns of the state.

He said the meet failed to adopt any resolution to express sympathy with families of massacres of Kulhand and Basantgarh and selective killings of innocent persons at different places in the state.

Addressing a gathering in Jammu of the activists and others from Kulhand and different militancy-infected areas, Gupta charged the meet with being "insensitive" and "inhumane" for not uttering a word about the plight of victims of terrorism.

BJP activists and locals from Kulhand and other areas of Doda continued their sit-in before the office of Divisional Commissioner for the eighth day on Friday.

Referring to the decisions taken during the roundtable conference, the BJP leader pointed out that a special group was being set up to facilitate the return of the Pak-trained terrorists from PoK, but it was a "matter of regret that no measure has been proposed for relief and rehabilitation of those who were brutally killed by the terrorists."
