The police said that constable Pokiho Mao (41), attached with the Tadubi police station, entered into a heated argument with his wife over some family matter after returning home from work on Wednesday and fired from his single-barrel rifle, killing her on the spot.

The constable later surrendered before the Tadubi police station along with the rifle, the police said adding an interrogation of him was proceeding.
