Three Maoists, including a woman, were killed in an exchange of fire with police in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, police sources said.
A special police party combing in the forest near Amberpadu village retaliated when naxalites opened fire at them.

In the ensuing gunfight, three naxalites were killed and two others managed to escape.
The police recovered three kitbags and two SLR weapons from the spot.
