Politicos can't ignore intellectuals
Any nation is not fully defined by its politicians; but by its intellectuals and educated class who provide a substance to the structure of state managed by politicians.
Politicians have to be very careful while trying to cross with intellegentia, as in its eventual aftermath the whole nation can decline. Intellegentia (or the intellectual class) is unlike the meek and helpless poverty stricken usual “garib adami” who has no time except to think about one's own survival.
They are (thinking and) acutely aware of each single incident, where an accomplished intellectual has to bow and kneel to unworthy politicians or superiors. This gross injustice is happening in a land which still sings the songs of Rabindranath Tagore, who voiced his dream of intellectual wealth for every Indian. The fact that Professor Venugopal's ouster is being proclaimed in public interest; is no less than branding the best of our soldier as traitor in the middle of war.
If such a trend goes on for too long; and the government following current one does not reverse this trend forever; the day is not far when the most loyal and most important intellectuals and educated class will rebel throwing the entire country into dark ages.
