The campaign kick-off function of the Mizo Secular Force (MSF), combine of three opposition parties, on Wednesday was no different. Elizabeth Zodinpuii, heart-throb of the youth, and other artistes entertained the political workers.

From the makeshift stage on the back of a truck in front of Vanapa Hall here, 'Eli', as Zodinpouii was popularly known, and other singers tried their best to win votes for the MSF candidate Dr Laltluangliana Khiangte.

Eli is the daughter of former Sports Minister PC Zoramsangliana, whose party Congress has formed the MSF with Mizoram People's Conference and Zoram Nationalsit Party.

Eli on Wednesday announced that she would follow Khiangte in his campaign trail all over the state.

She had also campaigned for her father in Kolasib assembly constituency but he lost to Chief Minister Zoramthanga of the MNF last November.

Thus the voters would have the opportunity to be entertained by top performers free of cost.
