Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, daughter of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, cast her vote along with her husband Robert Vadra and asserted that power was "not important" for her mother and other family members.
"Power is not important for us - me, Rahul or my mother. My mother is doing her job (as Congress leader) to the best of her capacity. It (power) is not a priority for any of us," she said when asked whether Sonia was a Prime Ministerial candidate.
Asked when she would venture into active politics, Priyanka said "for five years I have been working in my mother's constituency (Amethi). I am seriously in politics."
On the possibility of Congress forming the next government, she said she was hopeful that the party would do well. "We have put our heart into the campaigning. Three days remain for the results. Let us see".
