The two leaders would also chalk out a detailed strategy for a joint election campaign and try to iron out differences between Trinamool Congress and its ally SUCI which is adamant on putting up candidates against Congress in nine Lok Sabha seats, state Congress working president Pradip Bhattacherjee told PTI.

"Pranabda will be holding dicussion with Mamata on March 21 in Kolkata", a PCC leader close to the External Affairs minister said.

Bhattacherjee said the two leaders would explore the setting up of joint campaign committees. Each committee would comprise five to seven leaders from both parties.

He said the Congress president would talk to Mamata on SUCI fielding nine candidates against his party even though it was an ally of Trinamool.
