At the adjoining BPCL ground, a 42-ball 57 by Saurashtra batsman Cheteshwar Pujara led Indian Oil Corporation to a swift win over Hindustan Petroleum, who were all out for a paltry 79 after batting first.

Brief scores:

EIL 98 all out in 23.2 overs (Virendra Sharma 54; Amit Bhandari 5-38) lost to ONGC 101 for 1 in 9 overs (Praveen Kumar 50 not out, Gagan Khoda 36 not out) by 9 wickets.
