Praveen did not appear in person and was remanded to custody through video conferencing.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate BL Waghmare asked Praveen whether he had any complaints to which the accused replied that he was feeling restless and not getting proper sleep in the night.

He further said that he was suffering from blood pressure and diabetes and although the jail authorities were treating him for these diseases he was not shown the reports of the various tests conducted on him.

The court ordered the Superintendent of central prison to provide Praveen with medicines in jail and also show him the reports.

On Praveen's plea, the court also asked the jail authorities to provide the accused with all the periodicals and newspapers prescribed in the jail manual.

Praveen also asked the court when the charge sheet would be filed against him. He said he had come across media reports saying that charge sheet was to be filed on Wednesday.
