Presiding officer suffers from stoke in Amreli

B N Bavisi, who was presiding officer at a polling booth in Karen village in Dhari taluka, suffered a heart attack, following which he was shifted to the civil hospital in the district headquarters.

An election presiding officer suffered from a stroke while on duty on Thursday, police said.

The doctors at the civil hospital said that Bavisi's condition was stable and is under observation.
