A presiding officer at Khizrabad village in Morinda assembly segment of Ropar (R) parliamentary constituency of Punjab suffered a massive heart attack on Monday, official sources said.

Jagdish Lal (50) was shifted to a hospital here in critical condition, they said.

Another officer Lal Singh has been deputed in his place, they said.
