Fabrics like silks, georgettes, chiffons, and velvets were rendered in fresh hues of pink, peach, mauve, lime, butterscotch, and yellow to create a symphony of movement.

Although Nahid denies any toga-influences in her line, the layered and wrapped around look reminded one of the dresses worn in ancient Rome and Greece.

There were handkerchief hemmed dresses and skirts, teamed with floral embroidered corsets and blouses, kurtas and churidaars, asymmetric evening dresses that were cheerful and pretty. Strappy sandals, spaghetti straps, sensuous pouts and a skin show made the collection very naughty and girlie. "I wanted to create something that was soft and feminine, yet extremely trendy and stylish," says the designer.

The ornamentation was in form of fine origami pleats that were crafted in different coloured fabrics patched together, which was then layered with the lightweight soft sheers and silks, creating a delicate balance of the structured with the free flowing.
