The companies are doing all to pacify the agitating farmers who are obstructing their work and demanding higher compensation among other facilities. They are negotiating afresh to woo the farmers.
At Dadri, Ambuja Cement reached an agreement with farmers. It will pay an additional compensation of Rs 160 per sqm to them.
The agreement was reached with one group of farmers on the initiative of Gautam Budha Nagar MP Surinder Singh Nagar.
