"Forget whatever happened in the past. Let's make a fresh beginning. We are putting a new system in place to ensure your direct and active involvement in all development activities," said Priyanka before winding up her two-day visit to her mother and Congress president Sonia Gandhi's constituency.

"I will meet the booth-level Congress workers every two months," she assured them as she left.

On Priyanka's first visit to this constituency after the Congress lost all five assembly seats earlier this year she held closed-door interactions with party workers to hear their views on the electoral losses, sources said.
