Taking cognizance of the countinued absence of one Ashfaq Mulla, Metropolitan Magistrate Sameer Vajpayee issued the "production Warrants" for October 13 and directed the CBI to ensure his presence through video conferencing if he cannot appear in person.

On this, the CBI informed the court that there were some technical difficulties in this regard as there was no direct video-linking faclitity between Karkardooma court and Chanchal Guda Prison at Hyderabad, where Mulla is lodged in connection with several fake stamp paper cases.

The accused can only be produced if the Hyderabad prison establishes video-link with the Yerrawada jail in Pune, where Telgi is lodged.

The court then asked CBI to adopt the process as illustrated by it.

As per the CBI, Mulla had played a key role in establishing and running the fake stamp paper racket of Telgi in the national capital.

The agency had alleged it has credible evidence that the accused had transacted stamp papers of the value of Rs 70 lakh.
