A court in Mumbai remanded Lt Col Srikant Prasad Purohit, prime accused in Malegaon blast case, to three-day custody of police.

Purohit was wanted by Suburban Matunga police in a forgery case.

Purohit allegedly provided Sudhakar Chaturvedi, an accused in the Malegaon case, with a revolver and forged license papers.
