THE ASSOCIATION for Private Dental and Medical Colleges of MP (APDMC) will be conducting the entrance test for the MDS course in private dental on February 18.
The Justice Chandresh Bhushan Committee for Monitoring Admissions to Private Professional Colleges gave approval to the APDMC proposal to hold the exams, during a meeting held on Friday.
The entrance test will be conducted by an external committee for admissions to 22 private MDS seat available at the Modern Dental College, Indore. The entrance exam would be called Postgraduate Dental Admission Test (PDAT)-2007.
Exam forms will be available at the APDMC office in Bhopal and Modern Dental College at Indore from January 20 and the last date of submission of forms will be February 5.
The cost of the application is Rs 1,000 while the exam fees is Rs 750. The Justice Bhushan Committee had earlier rejected the proposal of the APDMC regarding the entrance exams and had asked for more details.
On Friday, each member of the committee checked the proposal, before giving the approval. The formal order in this matter will be issued soon.
