An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter Scale shook parts of Nagaland bordering Myanmar Monday morning.

The tremor was felt at 8:21 am and the epicentre was located at a latitude of 26.1 degrees North and longitude of 95.1 degrees East, the MeT office said here.

The quake was of moderate intensity, it said.
There were no immediate reports of any damage or casualty.
