A LECTURE on the topic ‘strategy for quality and productivity management’ was today conducted at the Sagar Institute of Research and Technology. The lecture was delivered by HEG Groups vice-president K K Puri and was attended by BE students and faculty.
Puri, who has an experience of 34 years in the industry spoke about the requirements of the industry saying that it looks for bright engineers with high skills, low probability of making mistakes and applying creativity. He urged the students to use both parts of the brain for analytical and creative skills to produce defect-free job.
He added that in the present competitive world, quality is mantra for success. Saying that no organisation or individual could grow without dedicated and disciplined effort and added that everyday one has to run but in the right direction to achieve success.
Chairman of SIRT Sanjeev Aggrawal said that such seminars and expert lectures help in building bright future of students. Director of SIRT Prof R K Mani and principal Shrihari Aggrawal were present.
