Quota: AIIMS Faculty to observe Black Day

The decision was taken at a general body meeting.

The senior doctors of All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Monday came out in support of striking junior medicos and medical students protesting against reservation and decided to observe a "black day" on Thursday.

The decision was taken at a general body meeting of AIIMS Faculty Association on Monday.

"We are with the striking students but we are not going on strike," General Secretary of the Association Dr KK Handa said.

In view of the strike by the resident doctors, senior faculty members are looking after the patients, emergency services and in-house patients at AIIMS.
