Quota call marks Ravidas Jayanti

Rallyists condemned the Union and the State Government for suspending special recruitment drive for Scheduled Caste in various departments.
Messages of Lord Buddha and Sant Ravidas were depicted in a tableau.
They raised slogans while particiapating in the procession. A seminar was organised here at Rustampur by the Eklavya Sena. Expressing his views on this occasion, Janata Dal district president Mahendra Singh Rana said sants like Ravidas had launched a movement for social justice.
District president of the Sena Virendra Nishad and Hari Ram Nishad said communities which did not fight for their genuine rights lagged behind in the process of development. They appealed to the youth of the community to raise their educational status.
