A Delhi court on Monday recorded the statement of Rahul Malhotra in connection with the Rahul Mahajan drug abuse case.

The statement was recorded by duty Magistrate Chandra Shekhar.

Malhotra was among the three men who had allegedly consumed drugs at the 7 Safdarjung road residence at a late night party, which led to the death of the late BJP leader's aide Bibek Moitra and left Rahul critically ill.

Of the remaining two men, Karan Ahuja's statement has been already recorded while Delhi police's application for recording Trishay Khanna's statement would be taken up tomorrow.
