Tight security has been provided in the district in view of the visit of AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi in Krishnagiri.

Around 1500 police personal have been deployed to provide security, police said.

Gandhi will be participating in youth Congress meeting to be held at the Devaraj Kalyana Mandapam and later visit District Sports Stadium to participate in a ‘youth programme.´

He will then leave for Salem.

Police has tightened security in all border check posts in Krishnagiri district.
