Congress MP Rahul Gandhi would visit his Lok Sabha constituency for the first time after the party's drubbing in Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election on July 23, a senior official said.

During the four-day visit, the scion of the Nehru-Gandhi family would be laying the foundation stone of three developmental projects in Sultanpur, its District Magistrate Sanjay Kumar said.
Rahul would also chair a meeting of village pradhans, block pramukhs and district panchayat members, Kumar said.
Congress sources in Amethi said that the party MP would also be paying a visit to several villages in Jagadishpur, Tiloi, Inhauna and Gauriganj and meet a cross-section of the people.
This would be Rahul's first visit in Amethi after the Assembly polls in the state in which his party's tally declined from 25 to 22.
