Singh threatened that if Somaiya failed to do so within 72 hours, he would be compelled to take “all legal measures” available to him, both civil and criminal, at his cost and expense.

Somaiya, who represents Mumbai North East in Lok Sabha, had written to the Enforcement Directorate and CBI on April 30 to probe the links between Singh and AgustaWestland chopper deal middleman Guido Haschke, and real estate developer Emmar MGF allegedly involved in the CWG scam.

Through his counsel PS Sudheer, Singh said he has no link whatsoever with Emmar MGF. “Singh is neither a director nor a shareholder of the company nor has he ever been in the past, nor does he intend to be at any point in the future,” the notice said.
