IN A major show of youth strength, the frontal organizations of the ruling Samajwadi Party will hold a rally here on Sunday. The city has been decked up with banners, buntings and large hoardings to hail senior party leaders including Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, general secretary Amar Singh and others.

The rally will also provide an opportunity to test organisational skills of MP from Kannauj Akhilesh Yadav who is chairman of all the four youth wings of the party.
Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh will be the main speakers at the rally.

Amar Singh, who celebrated his 50th birthday with simplicity in Delhi on Friday, had donated Rs 50 lakh to Akshardham temple. Party leaders, appreciating this gesture, today greeted him on his birthday. Apart from his family members, Amar Singh was accompanied by his family friends Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishekh Bachchan to the temple to offer prayer.

Akhilesh Yadav has been touring the state for the past fortnight to mobilise youth to attend the conference.

In political circle the rally is being seen as gearing up of the organisation for the next assembly election. The chief minister has already indicated that the time is running out fast and preparations for the electoral exercise should be made without further delay.
