Raman Singh to be new CM of Chhattisgarh
BJP MLAs elected state unit chief and former Union minister Raman Singh as their leader on Friday.

Chhattisgarh BJP's newly-elected MLAs met on Friday in Raipur and elected state unit president and former Union minister Raman Singh as their leader, party sources said.
With his election, Singh will become the next Chief Minister of the state, replacing Congress's Ajit Jogi.
The meeting was attended by BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu, former Union minister Dilip Singh Judeo, leader of opposition in the outgoing assembly Nand Kumar Sai besides Singh himself.
