"We will begin our election campaign with a mammoth public rally from the birth place of Guru Arjun Dev, Tarn Taran Sahib where first candidate of Lok Bhalai Party will be declared for the coming state assembly election," Ramoowalia said.

To a query about the party's pre-poll alliance, he said to defeat the Congress and communal forces like Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) and the Bhartiya Janata Party, the Lok Bhalai Party would try to form the third front with the help of CPI, CPI(M), Shiromani Akali Dal (Longowal) and other secular forces.
