When asked whether Rao Inderjit's decision would affect the party, Hooda, who was addressing mediapersons here on Thursday, described the Congress as a very big party and that it had played a major role in making Rao Inderjit what he was today.

Stating that he had not received any official confirmation or written communication about Rao Inderjit quitting the party, Hooda said: “Whosoever had left the Congress had to come back.”
When asked if former Congress leaders such as Chander Mohan and his brother Kuldeep Bishnoi, both of whom were now Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) leaders, could also return to the Congress, Hooda said: “In politics, one cannot ignore the possibilities.”

When asked if Rao Inderjit's decision would affect south Haryana, Hooda said that there were several Congress leaders in that region. He named a few: Capt Ajay Yadav, Rao Dan Singh, Shruti Choudhry, Rao Narender, Rao Dharampal and Anita Yadav.
