The worst affected areas are Windsor Court, Hamilton Court, Regency Park-2, Richmond Park, Ridgewood Estate, Sushant Lok and other areas around Galleria Market.

Sample this — one has to travel 4-5 kms extra to reach Galleria Market or Super Mart from Windsor Court which are at a distance of 50 and 150 meters, respectively. Moreover, residents get stuck in long traffic jams right outside their colony gates.

"With this one-way traffic plan, it has become difficult to reach the Metro station and highway. Earlier, I had to hardly travel a kilometre but now, I have to take a mandatory right turn and drive more than three kilometres," said Prakash Khaitan, a resident of Hamilton Court.

"The new plan around Galleria Market adds to the traffic woes of commuters and people living in surrounding localities. Traffic movement on these roads comes to a standstill during peak hours, especially evening," he added.

The road from Huda City Centre Metro station to Vyapar Kendra and Super Mart has been made one-way and entry for vehicles has been prohibited. Residents have to take a detour and travel an extra two kilometers with this road being closed.
