"Under Section 14 of the National Security Act (NSA), the Centre can review the arrests made," Naidu told reporters in Gwalior.

"Neither Varun has committed a crime nor had indulged in any anti-national act," he added.

The BJP president Rajnath Singh will soon be meeting Varun in the Etah jail, he said.

He said NSA had been invoked on Varun under political witch hunting, adding that his party wants that it should be revoked.

Naidu also demanded Varun's speech CD should be re-examined.

When asked whether the BJP has plans to join hands with VHP, which has announced to launch protest against the authorities on slapping NSA on Varun, he said his party was looking into the matter from legal angle.
