They said the leakage in pipeline had not been repaired despite several reminders.

Later, municipal commissioner Shiv Nandan Ojha assured the leaders to deal with the problems on priority basis. Congress leader Aslam Parvez, Rakesh Yadav, Arshad Parvez, Azam Siddiqui and others condemned the apathetic attitude of the municipal corporation regarding carrying out drainage sanitation. They said the sanitation employees came only a week in the areas, which have compounded their problems.
