RJD leader to contest on SP ticket

Former state vice-president of RJD, Onkarnath Jaiswal, who joined SP on Sunday, will be the SP candidate from Jamshedpur seat.

Former state vice-president of Rastriya Janata Dal in Jharkhand, Onkarnath Jaiswal, who joined Samajwadi Party on Sunday, will be the SP candidate from Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat.

Announcing this, Jharkhand pradesh president of SP Banna Gupta told reporters on Sunday night that he has left the seat for Jaiswal.

Earlier, announcing the list of candidates for eleven parliamentary seats in Jharkhand, Gupta had expressed his willingness to contest from Jamshedpur.
