The incident took place near Shankar Chowk on the Gurgaon Expressway on Sunday night when Jitender Kumar, the cab driver, offered a lift to three men at Maharana Pratap Chowk near Sector 14.
"Out of greed, the driver agreed to ferry the trio to Bijwasan. After moving four kilometres, they asked the driver to stop the car. One of them came out and pulled the driver him out of the car. They tied his hands and legs and dumped him in a field on Jhajjar Road. Later, the victim managed to call his employer," said Naresh Kumar, SHO, Civil Lines police station.
