Rs 35 crore to help SCs in Hamirpur

This was stated by additional deputy commissioner Himanshu Shekhar Chaudhry during a meeting held here on Friday.

He said a sum of Rs 8 crore had already been spent in the district under the sub-plan during the second quarter of the year.

Chaudhry informed the meeting that out of 1,966 poor families that were to be covered under the plan, as many as 1,123 had already been covered during the year by providing them various sorts of
benefits.

He asked the officers concerned to ensure that while carrying out schemes under the plans, the quality of works should be maintained at all cost.
