A RSS functionary in Kerala was hacked to death by unidentified persons at Charummood in the district late Friday night.
The body of G Chandran, a taluk karyavah of RSS, was found in a field on Saturday morning with multiple injuries, police said.

The RSS and BJP leaders alleged that CPI-M workers were behind the murder. The Sangh Parivar outfits called a dawn-to-dusk hartal in the district on Saturday in protest against the incident.
Tension prevailed in the area to where a strong police team had been rushed.
