Confirming the development, IG (Ujjain Range) Anil Kumar told UNI here today that a message was sent by the Uttar Pradesh Government regarding collection of the corpse.

On March 8, UP Police claimed to have unearthed vital clues in connection with the March 7 blasts in Varanasi, following the Salar encounter. More than 2.5 kg RDX, four detonators, a foreign-make pistol and some cartridges were seized from the possession of the dead ultra.

Other aliases used by the insurgent were Salim, Sufi, Amir, Ahmed, Pawan, Babu Bhai Masalewale, Akbar and Miyaji. After preliminary education here, he had left for his uncle’s place at Ratlam.

At a young age, Salar committed his first crime by chopping off the hands of an advocate, Surya Kant, as revenge for the murder of Salar’s friend Mahesh’s father. Mahesh was sentenced but Salar was acquitted. He got in touch with terrorist Mushtaq.
