Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ravindra Yadav, heading the investigation of Margao blast, talking to a local news channel felt that there is something wrong in Sanatan's ideology.

"There is something wrong in the ideology of Sanatan Saunstha. While on one hand they preach spirituality, how come their own activists are involved in terrorist act like blasts, Yadav observed in a TV show in Panaji.

The DIG recalled that earlier members of this outfit were involved in blasts in Navi Mumbai, Thane and Panvel.

Goa police investigating Margao blast, which occurred on Diwali eve killing two Sanatan activists reportedly carrying the explosives, had earlier refused to involve the Sanatan in the act.

Superintendent of Police (PRO) Atmaram Deshpande had remarked that " We are saying that Sanatan's activists are involved. We never said that Sanatan Saunstha is involved,".
