After completing the pre-charge formalities, Judicial Magistrate First Class G Uthamaraj sent the case file to Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu, who would assign the case to a Sessions Judge.

The case would now come up for hearing before a Sessions Judge on April 27.

The Magistrate directed all the accused and accused-turned-approver Ravi Subramaniam to appear before the Chengalpattu court on that day.
