Sankararaman murder accused get bail

The judge ordered the two to reside in Tiruchirappalli and sign at a local police station twice daily.

Two accused in the Sankararaman murder case were granted bail on Tuesday by the Madras High Court.

Granting bail to Arun and Silverstar alias Stalin, Justice S Sardar Zackria Hussian directed them to furnish personal bonds for Rs 25,000 each with two sureties for like amount.

Ordering the two to reside in Tiruchirappalli, the judge directed them to sign at a police station there twice daily.

Kanchi seer Jayendra Saraswati and his junior Vijayendra Saraswati are the main accused in the case relating to the murder of a Kancheepuram temple official Sankararaman on September 3 last.
