She postponed her visit to the High Commission following an assurance from Pakistan's outgoing Human Rights Minister Ansar Burney on the phone that he would help her get the visas for the entire family when he comes to India next month, Dalbir Kaur told reporters here today.

Burney informed her that he was coming to India through the land transit route of Attari Check Post on April two and visit Bikhiwind, Sarabjit's native village, which is about 60 kms from the Attari border, Kaur said.

She has also been asked by Burney to keep ready all the documents which could prove the innocence of Sarabjit Singh, she said, adding, it was pointless going to the Pakistan High Commission now that Burney had assured to help her get the visas.

Dalbir Kaur has already procured passports for Sarabjit's wife Sukhpreet Kaur, herself and his two daughters Swapnadeep Kaur and Poonam for a visit to Pakistan.
