Five unidentified youths with masked faces looted at least Rs eight lakhs from the cashier of a branch of State Bank of India in Panchkula.

Five unidentified youths with masked faces looted at least Rs eight lakhs from the cashier of a branch of State Bank of India in the city.

The youths came in a vehicle and pointed weapons at the cashier and looted around eight lakhs from the branch of bank located in sector 20, Panchkula SP Amitabh Dhileon said.

All youths have covered their faces with mask and it appears to be a planned robbery, he said.

Police is investigation and working on clues, he said.
