SBI launches internet kiosk at rly stations

Country's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) launched internet banking kiosk at ATM centres located in railway stations.

Country's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) on Saturday launched internet banking kiosk at ATM centres located in railway stations.

The facility would enable customers to avail internet banking to reserve railway tickets for all trains available at IRCTC site on the kiosk, SBI said in a press statement today.

Customers will get the printed electronic reservation slip instantly after the transaction, the bank said.

Apart from ticket booking, customers can also avail services like fund transfer, balance enquiry, bill payments, interbank fund transfer facility and tax payments, the release said.

SBI opened its first kiosk at Mumbai Central Railway station in Mumbai.
