India's largest lender, State Bank of India, said on Tuesday it would increase interest rates on fixed and floating rate home loans by 25 to 75 basis points from March 1.

The bank said it would not provide fixed rate home loans beyond 10 years.
SBI shares were up 0.8 per cent at Rs 871 in a firm Mumbai market.
