Talking to reporters here today after releasing the ruling Sikkim Democratic Front's (SDF) manifesto for the coming simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in the state, Chamling who also heads the SDF said ''Bhandari's was the first government in Sikkim which was dismissed on corruption charges."

Pointing out that it was during Bhandari's rule that scribes were for the first time beaten up in the state, Chamling said he only misled people during the 14 years of his rule.
