Later, the fishery department employees nabbed one person and handed him to the police while other two managed to flee.

At 3.30 pm three persons entered in the fishery department and directed the clerk Hari Tek Chandani to show the file regarding appointment of officers on various posts. The clerk refused to obey their order and directed them to the special secretary.

This infuriated the visitors and they threatened the clerk of dire consequences. While heated exchange between them was continuing, the employees protested against their misbehaviour with senior clerk. Suddenly the trio assaulted the two clerks Sudhakar and Vijay Sharma.

Though clerks were taken aback with sudden attack but they overpowered one of the assailant Kamlesh Kumar Yadav, while Rajendra Kumar and Rajeev Kumar managed to give dodge to the employees and fled from the spot.

Police officials said during interrogation Kamlesh told them that he was working as Food Inspector and posted at Etawah.

Rajendra and Rajeev were also food inspectors posted at Banda and Jalaun respectively. Rajendra had applied for the post of Assistant Director in the fishery department and they had come to inquire about the appointments.

It was not for the first time security in the Vidhan Bhawan was breached. Few months back theft was committed at some offices in the building. Recently, live .22 cartridges were recovered in the Annexe building.
